Yeah, that bit about "sad LinkedIn profiles" is so true. I mean, I got curious and looked up some people from my old job last week, and it's just a bunch of cringe motivational posts and lame podcast promos. Idk, maybe it's just me, but it feels like everyone is trying so hard to be some kind of expert now. It's honestly a little depressing to see what people end up doing.

Watching my friend get talked into a totally beige living room by his in laws was painful. He complained about that sad couch for three years straight, calling it his "guest approved prison." Finally ripped it all out last month for these loud green chairs he actually likes. Now he just smiles at the ugly things instead of staring at walls he hated.
