I paid $40 for a code bootcamp and it was the best money I ever spent

Everyone told me free YouTube tutorials were enough, but I dropped $40 on a beginner coding course from Udemy during a sale in January and it changed how I learn. The structure kept me from jumping around, and I actually finished my first small project in 3 weeks instead of quitting like I did twice before. It was not magic, just a straight path through the basics without getting lost. Has anyone else paid for a cheap course and felt it beat piecing together free stuff?
