That 3 day stretch on the Superior Hiking Trail when everything went right
Did the 50 mile stretch from Beaver Bay to Finland in Minnesota earlier this month and it was the best 3 days I've had on trail. Weather stayed clear, water sources were all running, and we hit camp at Tettegouche with daylight to spare both nights. My buddy twisted his ankle on day 1 and still pushed through, which honestly made the whole thing feel earned. Anyone else have a route where the conditions just line up perfect like that?
Did you sacrifice something to the trail gods before you left? Because a clear 3 day forecast in Minnesota is basically a miracle. Glad your buddy made it through on a bad wheel too, that's a trooper move right there.
