Finally got my shed organized after 3 years of chaos
Spent last Saturday actually sorting all those bins I kept shoving in there, and I can finally walk to the back wall without tripping over a rake - anyone else have a random pile of old plant pots taking over their space?

Wait, aren't plant pots supposed to have drainage cracks for healthy roots?

Oh man, "random pile of old plant pots" - that hit way too close to home. I swear I had like forty of those things stacked behind my shed, all different sizes and colors, half of them cracked. Finally broke down and sorted them during a rainy Saturday. Ended up tossing a bunch and stacking the rest by size on a cheap shelf I found at a yard sale. It feels so good to actually see what you've got instead of playing "find the trowel" every time you need it.

Bet you didn't think about the mice and bugs though. Those cracked pots stacked outside are basically a free apartment complex for critters. Getting them sorted and off the ground was probably doing more for pest control than you realize, lol.
