My neighbor Ruth got me to finally fix the shed door I have been fighting for 2 winters
I have been kicking the bottom of my shed door shut since 2022 because it swelled up and would not latch. Last Saturday my neighbor Ruth watched me do it from her yard and said, "Honey, that is not a door problem, that is a dirt problem." She was right. The ground under the threshold had washed out and the whole frame was sitting about an inch low on one side. I dug out the old gravel, added 3 bags of paver base, and now it closes with one finger. What is the best way to keep water from washing out that spot again?
