Switched from stacking bins against the fence to wall-mounted racks, and it finally stopped looking like a junk pile
For about three years I kept all my yard gear in those plastic bins lined up along the back fence in our Sacramento yard, and every time it rained the lids would fill with water and the stuff inside would get damp. Last spring I finally put up two wall-mounted racks on the side of the shed and hung the rakes, hoses, and folding chairs instead. Everything fits in half the space now, and I can see what I have without digging through bins. I get that not everyone has a shed wall to use, but I don't understand why more people don't try it. Has anyone here mounted racks on a chain link fence, and did it hold up?
