The diner menu that rounded 5.75 to 6 and called it a deal

Stopped at a little place outside Reno last Tuesday, and the specials board said any combo was $6 even. I ordered what added up to $5.75 on the itemized menu, so I asked the waitress about it. She shrugged and said the owner rounds all prices up to keep the change simple, then they subtract a nickel if you pay cash. I did the math on my receipt and it took me three tries to find where the extra quarter went. Has anyone else run into a business that just decides how numbers work?

Question whether the hype is worth it, honestly it's just numbers on a screen, people act like it's brain surgery.
