Vent: I tipped 20% on a $63 tab in Columbus and the math on the receipt made no sense
Was out at a spot on High Street in Columbus with my roommate and the bill came to $63 even, so I did the quick math in my head for a 20% tip and wrote $76 total on the slip. The waitress comes back like two minutes later and goes "hey, I think your tip math is off" and shows me the printed suggestion line said $12.60. Turns out I blanked on the fact that 10% of 63 is 6.30, not 3.15, and I'd basically tried to tip her $13 but written it as $13 total instead of $75.60. Who else has had a brain fart like that at a restaurant and just handed over the card hoping nobody notices?
