I finally stopped believing the NFL is rigged after my buddy tracked every penalty in a Chiefs game
I used to roll my eyes at people who said games are scripted, but then I'd catch myself nodding along to those same videos (you know, the ones with 2 million views and a guy yelling about the refs). My friend Dave actually sat through a whole Chiefs game last season with a notebook and wrote down all 14 penalties, and when we checked them against the replay angles, 12 of them were obvious. He said the two iffy ones were just normal bad calls, not some league meeting from Roger Goodell. Anyone else ever try to fact-check a hot take like this, or did I just waste a Sunday afternoon?
