Just learned the 'Full House' theme song has a laugh track buried in it and now I can't unhear it
I was reading a thread on a TV production sub and a guy who worked sound on 90s sitcoms said they used to sweeten the opening credits with canned laughs because test audiences felt weird watching a family just smile at each other. So I pulled up the season 2 intro on YouTube and sure enough, right after the line about the milk and the paper there's this low chuckle that is not coming from anyone in the scene. Now I hear it every single time and it ruins the warm fuzzy feeling a little. Has anyone else noticed this in other show intros or am I just cursed now?
Watched that same clip like five times and I honestly can't hear it, so maybe you're just looking for it now. Shows did sweeten stuff all the time back then, but a little chuckle at the end of an intro is pretty harmless. You'll probably forget about it in a week.
