Vent: watching an 80s cop show marathon at my sister's place in Dayton made me notice the fake backdrop
Stayed at my sister's place in Dayton last month and her cable had a whole afternoon of old cop reruns going. Around the third episode I started noticing the same painted brick wall behind the interrogation room, just shifted a few feet each time. By episode five I was timing the loop on the hallway shot, and it came back every 11 minutes like clockwork. Now I can't watch a single one without scanning the background for the seam, and it honestly made the show more fun. Does anybody else zone in on the reused sets more than the actual plot?
