I finally bought a kitchen scale instead of measuring cups

Spent $15 on a basic digital scale after ruining three batches of bread with packed flour. Now my cookies come out exactly the same every time. Anyone else find measuring cups just aren't consistent?

Right, that whole thing reminds me of when my neighbor tried to bake cookies from scratch for the first time and used salt instead of sugar. Took him three batches to figure out what went wrong. People act like these digital cookies are some kind of hacker magic when really it's just a basic text file sitting on your computer. The whole tracking debate gets blown way out of proportion sometimes.
