inVent: That one Thursday where everything that could go wrong did
Designed by satan himself" - man, I felt that in my bones reading it. Those plastic clips are the absolute worst, I swear they're made out of recycled toothpicks or something. A buddy of mine had a similar thing happen on a Toyota door panel last month, and he ended up having to drill out the broken clip stubs and use those little metal clip retainers instead. Took him an extra hour and a half just to get the door card back on. Rusted clips in a Silverado though, that's a special kind of nightmare. I'm honestly surprised you didn't just set the truck on fire and walk away.

inThat news blooper where the anchor's coffee cup fell over caught me off guard
Just check the weather report next time it'll save you the headache.

inThe transmission shop on Route 9 gave me a quote that made me laugh out loud
Fine print has become an art form in itself. Companies load up promises to get the sale then hide behind vague language when you actually need help. Over time you learn that "lifetime" usually means the product's short lifespan, not yours.

inAm I the only one who thinks digital drafting is killing the feel of hand drawing?
Bet your boss also thinks handwriting is a waste of time.

inOld timer at the job site told me to wet cure for 14 days instead of 7 - glad I listened
Had a buddy who poured his own garage slab and skipped the wet cure entirely. Three years later it's spalling like crazy and he's kicking himself for not listening to the old timers. The extra week of effort is nothing compared to ripping out and repouring the whole thing.
