I finally figured out why my clippers kept dying mid fade, and it took 5 weeks to catch
Kept losing power halfway through the back of the head on 3 clients in one Saturday at my chair in El Paso, so I swapped cords, then blades, then the whole clipper. Turned out the outlet on my left side was wired to the same breaker as the AC unit, so every time it kicked on the voltage dipped just enough to stall the motor. A buddy who does electric work clocked it in about 10 minutes with a $20 tester, after I spent 5 weeks and $180 on parts I did not need. Anyone else running into weird power stuff in older buildings?

That "$20 tester" catch reminds me of a post I read where a barber's clippers kept stalling and it turned out his fridge was on the same circuit. Old buildings got some wild wiring.
