Shoutout to the parking garage in Reno that counts a 6 minute stay as free
I pulled into the garage by the river in Reno on a Tuesday to grab coffee, and the machine at the exit said my ticket was under 6 minutes so I owed nothing. The second time I went back I timed it on purpose and got out at 5:5something which felt like a small win. Turns out the grace period runs from when you pull the ticket, not when you park, so sitting at the gate for a minute before grabbing it buys you a little extra. Not saying anyone should do that, but the sign says "first 6 minutes free" and the sign is very clear. Anyone else notice little written rules like this on garage signs and wonder how much slack is built in on purpose?
