Dropped $380 on a touchless faucet for my powder room and I hate it

I saw one at a hotel in Nashville and thought it looked so slick so I grabbed a mid range one and installed it myself over a weekend. Turns out it goes off every time my cat walks past the sink and it eats batteries like nothing, I'm already on my third pack of AAs. Has anyone found a brand that you can actually turn the sensor down on, or should I just eat the loss and go back to a normal handle?
