Hit exactly 137 tiles in my bathroom reno and now I'm paranoid
Was laying out subway tile for my shower last weekend in Portland and ran the math for the backsplash - needed exactly 137 tiles to finish the pattern. No joke, that number kept popping up everywhere that day, like the 137th tile had some kind of curse on it. I actually stopped and counted three times before I put the last one in. Has anyone else had a weird number moment during a remodel like that?

Dude that is wild. Same thing happened to me but with the number 23. I was laying down laminate flooring in my basement a few years back and every single cut I made needed to be exactly 23 inches to fit around the door frames and corners. By the time I was done I had 23 scraps left over. I literally sat there staring at the pile like I was in some kind of psychological thriller. The worst part is I started seeing 23 everywhere that week, on gas pumps, in my change, even the time on my phone kept hitting 23 minutes past the hour. Brains are weird man, once they lock onto a number they just wont let go.
