Hot take: a random guy on the bus in 2019 said F1 would blow up in the US, and here we are
I was riding the 21 bus in Austin back in 2019 and this older guy next to me saw my Red Bull Racing shirt and just started going off about how F1 was about to take over America within five years. I laughed it off at the time because nobody I knew watched races live back then. Now the US has three GPs on the calendar and tickets for COTA sell out in minutes, so he was basically a prophet. What random comment did you hear years ago that ended up being dead on?
