My cousin in Tulsa called the county fair trend before it blew up
Back in March she told me to save screenshots of that local vendor's posts because they'd be national news by summer. Sure enough, the same photos showed up on a big outlet last week. Anyone else have a relative who somehow spots these things early?

Notice how the people who catch these things early are never the ones posting about it online. They just quietly save stuff and wait, like they know the internet has a pattern of recycling local content into national stories every few months. Your cousin basically read the algorithm before the algorithm knew what it was doing. It makes me wonder how many other small-town trends are sitting in someone's camera roll right now, just waiting for their six-month window to pop.
