That 'viral startup' post from a 3 year old Reddit thread was spot on, but nobody listened
I was digging through r/startups for old hiring advice and found this random comment from 2021 about a guy describing a food delivery app that paid drivers below minimum wage and used hidden fees. He predicted it would blow up within 2 years. Fast forward to last month, that exact app got hit with a class action lawsuit and a huge exposé. It was wild because at the time everyone called him a hater and downvoted him into oblivion. I even read his thread from my couch in Austin around midnight, then pulled the court docs to verify the names matched. Made me wonder how many other legit warnings get buried because they sound too bitter. Have you ever found an old post that aged like milk in reverse and you wished you'd booked marked it?
