That week in Chicago when everything went wrong starting with a flat tire at 5 AM Monday

Last winter I had a run of bad luck that still makes me cringe. It was a Monday morning in February, I'm heading to a shoot in the Loop, and my tire blows out on the Eisenhower. Cost me $180 to get it patched and I missed the first 2 hours of setup. Then Tuesday, my main light head broke during a portrait session. Wednesday I spilled coffee on my laptop keyboard. By Friday I had three clients mad at me for delays. The weird part was nothing catastrophic, just a dozen medium sized failures stacked up. Has anyone else had a week where it felt like the universe was just piling on little stuff?

Are you sure it wasn't a little bit your fault though? Like the coffee on the laptop thing, maybe you just weren't paying enough attention that morning. Sometimes we blame the universe when we're actually just having a sloppy week and not being careful enough.

Honestly @fionafoster, I've spilled enough coffee on myself to know you just gotta accept the L and move on.

Wait, are you saying I might be the common denominator in my bad weeks? Because honestly I used to blame the universe but now I'm not so sure after reading this.
