Back in March my sister sent me a video claiming two tablespoons of baking soda and a splash of vinegar would clear a slow drain, and I laughed it off as clickbait. Last week her kitchen sink in Tulsa was draining slow and she tried it while I was on the phone with her, and about 20 minutes later the water ran straight through. She did say it took two rounds and a pot of hot water to get there, so it isn't magic. Now I can't tell if this actually works on real clogs or if her drain was just barely starting to gunk up. Has anyone tried this on something worse than a slow sink, and did it actually hold up?
