DAE think Kurt Cobain gets way more credit than he deserves, and my $12 library sale find proved it
I found a copy of Nirvana's Bleach at a library sale in Spokane for $12 last month, and I sat down and listened to it front to back for the first time since high school. Honestly, it's a sloppy, half-baked record, and people act like every note he ever played was genius just because he died young. I get that Nevermind changed things, but go back and really listen to the playing and the lyrics on the early stuff. Does anyone else think the myth is doing way more work than the actual music, or is it just me?
