inTried a new acrylic sealer on a driveway in Spokane last week versus my usual solvent-based one. The difference in finish and drying time was night and day.
Maybe for some uses, but my experience with water-based on concrete has been the total opposite.

inFound out my neighbor's smart doorbell was hacked because of a default password
Just realized my smart coffee maker still has the default password (I checked after reading this). So if someone hacks it, they're not stealing data, they're just making really weak coffee at 3am. I guess my laziness only hurts me, which is a weird kind of security feature. I'm going to go change it now before it starts ordering decaf on its own.

inMy therapist in Austin told me to stop calling my ex for every little thing, so I started writing angry emails I never send instead.
Just make sure to name them something you'll actually remember later... otherwise you end up with a hundred files just called "note.

inI saw a client's face drop when I gave them a price for a simple website fix.
Ever notice how just changing the question can make clients see the real value? That shift from "what does it cost" to "what's it costing you" hits different. It frames your work as solving a real problem they're already paying for.

inMy whole night of shooting the Perseids got wrecked by a bad power bank
Rough night for sure, but is a few missed meteors really that big a deal? It's not like the Perseids are a one-time event, they come back every year. Sometimes gear fails, it's just part of the hobby. Maybe the lesson is to always have a backup plan, like that extension cord, instead of trusting a single battery.
