Picked Hendrix over Cobain for my 3 am rabbit hole, no contest

Last night I had two hours to kill and both docs were queued up. I went with the Jimi one from 2012 and honestly, his live footage from Stockholm in '69 blows away anything Nirvana ever put out. Cobain had the angst but Hendrix had the chops and the showmanship. My neighbor walked in during the solo on Machine Gun and asked who was playing. He's 22 and never heard it before. We ended up watching the whole thing again. Has anyone else gone down the Hendrix live bootleg path and come out the other side thinking he's untouchable?

Buddy of mine found a 1969 bootleg and missed work the next day. That says it all.
