I keep seeing people act like Bowie is some untouchable genius and I finally caved at a record fair in Cleveland 6 months ago. The guy running the booth swore these 4 colored vinyl reissues were rare collector stuff, so I paid $70 for the lot. Got them home and looked up the run codes and they are pressing from this year, just with a cool sleeve. Sold the whole stack for $22 on marketplace a week later. This is exactly the kind of thing this community is about, people hyping dead artists into some sacred thing you cannot question. What is the most overpriced piece of dead celebrity merch you ever got talked into?
