My appendix tried to ruin my 4 day weekend binge and I finished the whole show anyway
Spent Tuesday night in a Tacoma ER with a ruptured appendix, but I still finished all 8 episodes of that survival show from my hospital bed by Thursday. Anyone else ever power through a season while actively falling apart?

Been there man, not appendix but I had a bad flu last winter and still binged a whole crime doc series from my couch. One thing that saved me was keeping the phone charger right next to the bed so I never had to get up and hunt for an outlet. Also ask the nurses for those little ginger ale cans, they help with the nausea from the pain meds. If you're still on the heavy stuff, set a timer for your doses or you'll sleep through one and wake up hurting bad. Rest up and don't try to walk too much yet, that scar takes a minute to heal.
