The best binge I ever had was during a power outage last winter.

My street lost power for 48 hours, so I just burned through the entire first season of 'Severance' on my laptop battery. It was the perfect show for that weird, isolated feeling. Anyone else have a show that just fit a weird moment perfectly?

Actually, that's impressive your laptop battery lasted that long. Mine would have died halfway through the second episode. Severance is a great pick for that kind of trapped feeling though.

Honestly though, is a TV show fitting a mood really that deep? It was just a power outage, not being stranded on a desert island. People act like matching a show to bad weather is some huge life event. Tbh it sounds like you just had nothing else to do so any show would have felt special in that moment.

You ever think maybe the special part is just noticing the small stuff? My big life event was realizing I had to pee but didn't want to lose my spot on the couch.
