I was at a small music festival in Nashville last summer when a headliner got booed off stage

Saw a guy apologize for cutting in line once.

I was looking at visa rules for Thailand and found out you can't just do border runs forever anymore...

Remember my cousin's visa wedding? Total mess.

I finally looked up the actual tensile strength of that old RG6 we all find in attics

Hold on, that spec sheet is from the 90s! You can't just trust a piece of paper over real world experience. That cable gets brittle as heck after baking in an attic for 30 years, the rating means nothing now. @gracethomas had it right the first time, it IS the age. I've pulled miles of that stuff and it snaps way easier now than any 150 pound rating suggests. The plastic just turns to dust and the copper gets weak. Blaming the original spec ignores what actually happens to materials over time.

Unpopular opinion: I slowed down that new apology video to 0.25x speed and the eye contact is totally fake.

It's not really sneaky if it's in the terms of service. A lot of people just don't read the fine print before they click agree. You'd be surprised what's actually allowed.

Replaced a shutter on an old Pentax and now the mirror sticks

Check the foam mirror bumper, it might be totally rotten and sticking to the mirror after you fire it. That old foam turns to glue and would cause exactly that random lock up. Cameron_hernandez69 is right about the small parts causing big problems, and a perished bumper is a classic one people miss. If it's gunked up, cleaning it and putting in a new foam piece is way easier than messing with the governor spring again.
