Heard a wild rumor about a singer's 'secret wedding' that turned out to be a total set-up

Last Tuesday, a friend texted me a link to a blog claiming a famous pop star had a private ceremony in Malibu. The story had photos of her in a white dress with an unknown man. I spent an hour digging and found the original source was a paparazzi agency known for staging shots. The 'groom' was a hired actor, and the 'venue' was just a public beach. It was all a planned photo op sold as a scoop. Has anyone else seen a gossip story lately that was clearly manufactured from the ground up?

Honestly, how can you even be sure the paparazzi agency was the original source? Tbh, a lot of times these stories start on fan forums or get twisted by other blogs first. That agency probably just bought the fake photos from someone else and got caught. The whole system is built on layers of people making stuff up, not just one company staging things. I see it more as a messy rumor chain than a single planned setup from the ground up.
