Hit 500 anvils in 3 years without realizing it
I was going through my forge logs last week, just counting how many billets I'd worked for a customer rush, and the total landed at 507 anvils since I started in 2021. That's wild to me because I never set a number goal, just kept showing up to my shop in Springfield. The kicker is my shop is tiny, like 10x12 feet, so I had no clue I was moving that much steel. Anybody else ever hit a random milestone that made you rethink your whole setup or pace?

Man, that's both awesome and mildly terrifying. My version of this was realizing I'd owned the same pair of work boots for four years and they'd walked the equivalent of a small country, judging by the soles. Makes you wonder if you're just in a weird time loop in a 10x12 box, but hey, at least the steel doesn't complain about the commute. Keep swinging, that's a serious pile of work for a tiny shop.
