Lesson from a flea market anvil in Arkansas
Picked up a beat to hell anvil at a swap meet outside Little Rock last month. $40, looked rough, but after cleaning it up the face was still solid. That thing taught me more about hammer control in two weeks than my fancy new one did all year. The rebound is weird, kind of dead, so you really feel every miss. Anyone else learned more from a junk tool than a good one?
