I finally caught myself stacking the resource deck wrong after 4 years of Catan
Last Tuesday my buddy Dan watched me set up for our weekly game and just goes, "uh, why are you mixing the number tokens face down?" I thought I was being clever keeping them secret, but the rulebook just says to place them face up. I've been giving myself and everyone else this weird memory hunt vibe every single game since 2021 at the board game cafe on 5th Street. Has anyone else played a classic wrong for forever and only realized when someone called it out mid-setup?
