inJust lost $200 on a transmission flush that caused more problems
Yeah that flush probably did more harm than good. Sorry man.

inSpent $80 on a 'pro grade' paint respirator that didn't fit under my hood
Yo, that's wild about the adapter piece! I was actually reading a blog post from a pipe welder last week who rigged up his own with some 3D printed parts because he had the exact same problem. Seems like a lot of people just deal with it instead of looking for a fix. Makes you wonder how many other "pro" tools have simple workarounds that nobody tells you about until you're already frustrated.

inHad to pick between wings and thighs for my first air fryer chicken test
Oh man, drumsticks were a solid pick for that price. I usually go with thighs myself because they're harder to dry out, but I did a whole leg once and the skin got super crispy on the drumstick part while the thigh was still a little floppy. You gotta flip them halfway or the thick part stays soggy.

inTook me 4 hours to fix a door gap that should've been 20 minutes
Used to roll my eyes at guys who said "no such thing as a quick door adjustment" but yeah, this job humbled me real quick. Hidden pillar damage is the worst kind of surprise.

inOrdered 3 identical shirts from Shein and they all fit different sizes
Take the tags off and lay them flat on a table. Measure the pit to pit across the chest and from the collar to the hem. Write it down. Then you can match up the sizes by measurements instead of the tag. I've had the same three shirts from fast fashion places vary by almost two inches in the chest. Keep the ones that fit the same and send the others back. They usually refund no questions asked since they know the quality control is bad.
