My old boss told me to use 1/4 inch ply for drawer bottoms and every single one sagged by month 3
I was building a kitchen set in Garland last spring and my boss said 1/4 inch ply was all I needed for drawer bottoms, so I went with it to save cash. Three months later the homeowner sent pics of every wide drawer bowing and the silverware rattling when you opened it. Now I'm wondering if I should go 1/2 inch or just add a center brace, what do you guys run on drawers over 12 inches wide?
