Found out my old lift charts were from 2008 and I never noticed the load radius was wrong
So I was cleaning out the truck last week and found a laminated chart stuffed under the seat from a job in 2019. Out of pure boredom I compared it to the new one the company handed out and the load radius numbers were off by almost 400 lbs at 60 feet. Turns out the old chart was made before a software update and they just kept copying it. I ran the numbers on a lift I did in March and I was cutting it way closer than I thought. Anyone else hold onto old charts longer than they should? Thinking about scanning mine into my phone so I can't lose track of which version is which.
Scanning to your phone works until your phone dies or you're in a dead zone... paper doesn't need a battery. I'd rather keep a fresh laminated copy in the truck and toss the old one the day the new version shows up, because having two charts floating around is how this happens in the first place.
