Guy at the coffee shop swore by tabbed notebooks only, two months later I switched back
So about two months back I'm sitting at this coffee shop in Tucson and the guy next to me sees my journal and goes off about how he can't use freeform pages anymore, only tabbed ones, because he'd waste half an hour a day hunting for stuff. I figured sure, makes sense, so I bought a tabbed notebook and ran my whole setup in it for two months. Turns out I hated it. I only run about six collections at a time, so hunting was never my problem, the problem was that I like drawing my own layouts and the tabs locked me into whatever the notebook maker decided. Now I'm half convinced tabs are great for people with 20 collections and useless for people like me with a handful. Has anybody else switched their whole system based on one random convo and immediately regretted it?
