Knocked over a full stack of Mysterium cards at game night

I was setting up Mysterium at Dave's place last Saturday and my elbow caught the whole stack of clue cards. Sent them flying everywhere under his couch and behind his TV stand. We spent 20 minutes crawling around with a flashlight sorting them back into order. Anyone else have a clumsy moment that almost derailed a game night?

Best trick for situations like this is to snap a quick phone photo of the card layout before you start sorting. That way you can reference the original order instead of guessing. We had to do this after my dog ran through a game of Dixit and sent everything airborne. Save yourself the flashlight time next time and just use the camera.

Nah, I’d rather just remember the layout myself. Photos feel like overkill.

and after all that, did you actually remember which cards were which or did you just guess based on the pictures? because i feel like once you shuffle them around they all start to look the same under a couch.
