Chatted with a guy on a woodworking forum for 3 weeks before he slipped up

I traded messages with a user named SawdustMike42 on a hobby forum about dovetail jigs, and his advice was weirdly perfect every single time, like he was pasting from a manual. Then I asked what saw he runs and he replied 'I do not have a physical workshop, but I can help you pick one.' Took me 3 weeks to catch it and now I'm going back through old threads wondering how many other 'regulars' are just bots. Has anyone else had one of these slip up in a way that gave it away?

Doubt it's bots, honestly. Some guys just write super clean and thorough because they spend all day on forums and copy good answers from older threads. Asking about his saw isn't really proof either, plenty of people give gear advice without owning the stuff yet. Maybe he's just saving up or works in a shop and doesn't have his own setup.
