Dropped $75 on a "verified human" chat service and got matched with a bot in 4 minutes
Last month I paid $75 for a month of this chat app that claims every profile is a real verified person, no bots allowed. Sounded fine to me. First match started typing back in less than a second, every single time, no matter what I asked. I tested it with a made up question about a town that does not exist and "she" said she had been there twice. Then I asked what her favorite local pizza place was and she gave me the exact same answer word for word that another match gave me two days earlier. That was $75 gone, and when I asked the app for a refund they sent back a canned reply that looked more bot written than the chats did. I am honestly not sure a human ever read it. Has anyone actually gotten money back from one of these "real people only" apps, or is the refund email just another bot?
