A dating app profile had 47 photos of the same view and that is when I knew
I matched with a profile on Hinge in Chicago back in March that had 47 photos. Every single one was a stock photo of the same beach sunset, just slightly cropped different ways. I counted them on my phone during lunch. What got me was that the bio had the phrase 'I love to laugh and travel' written three times in a row with no punctuation. Real people don't post the same sunset 47 times, so I reported it and the account was gone in 2 hours. Has anyone else seen the same photo repeated like that on a dating app?
Oh man, I ran into something like that once, a guy had the same exact gym selfie posted like 15 times with slightly different filters and I sat there counting them like an idiot. The bio was just "6'2" since you're wondering" over and over, which is a weird thing to repeat when the photos clearly showed the same bathroom mirror. The whole thing screamed bot, so I reported it too and it vanished pretty fast.
