I finally tossed a $120 greenhouse kit that never held up

Bought this cheap polycarbonate greenhouse online last spring, assembled it in one weekend. By August the panels were cracking and the frame bent in a light wind. I lost about $120 total, not counting the seedlings that fried when a shelf collapsed. Now I'm just using a simple hoop house I built from PVC for $40. Has anyone else had luck with budget greenhouse kits or should I save up for a real one?
