Showerthought: Spent 5 hours trying to fix a $60 vacuum leak, is it worth it or do you just toss it?
Bought a Bissell vacuum 3 months ago for $60 and the hose started leaking air last week. I tried taping it with duct tape first, that lasted 2 days. Then I ordered a replacement hose for $15, but it took 5 hours to figure out how to take the old one off because the screws were stripped. Now I'm debating if I should have just returned it under warranty, but that means shipping it back and waiting 2 weeks. Has anyone else dealt with this, and do you fix or just buy a new one?
