The person who started it just said "well, I read it somewhere" and then deleted their post, but not before about fifty people had already commented agreeing with the whole bird thing. The kicker is, two weeks later the same article popped up again in a different group, and Carol just gave up and let it sit there. She told me sometimes you can't win a fight nobody wants to have, so you just let the crazy have its day.
