That $80 bluetooth speaker died after one pool party splash
We were just hanging out by the pool in Austin last Sunday and a single wave hit the speaker, now it only makes static noise. The box said IPX7 waterproof so I figured it could handle a little water, but the bluetooth circuit fried instantly. Should I try the warranty route or just cut my losses and buy one with a solid physical seal?

IPX7 means nothing when makers cut corners on real seals.
