Unpopular opinion: the gas station dancing mascot thing is worse than the ice bucket one
My kid showed me one of those dancing mascot clips on her phone back in March and I swear I lost 20 minutes of my life just watching people in cheap costumes shuffle around for no reason. We were sitting in the parking lot of a Kroger in Marietta waiting on her mom, and she kept scrolling through like 15 of them in a row. The worst part is they all use the same three sounds, that sped up giggle and some horn noise, and now I hear it in my head when I'm trying to fall asleep. Back when I was her age we had dumb stuff too, sure, but at least it ended when the TV show ended. These clips just keep going forever, one after another, and none of them have a punchline. I finally told her to put it away and she acted like I was banning books or something. Does the mascot thing bug anyone else or is it just the same five sounds looping that gets me?
