Found a system for monthly reviews that actually sticks
I tried doing a full monthly review for 2 years but kept dropping it until last month I started just using 3 bullet points to answer what worked, what didn't, and what to change. Has anyone else found a super simple format that keeps them consistent?

Different strokes for different folks but stripping it down that much loses the whole point for me. I need a little more structure to actually look back and spot patterns.

Oh wow, yeah I've been using a similar thing but with just two questions - what drained me and what filled me up. It's wild how we overcomplicate this stuff when we try to make it perfect. So when something worked really well for you, did you find yourself adding more stuff to it or did you keep it at just those three points? I kept trying to add categories but it always broke the habit for me.

The three point system saved me too. I tried these fancy planners with all these categories and rating scales and it just felt like homework. Bullet points are where it's at because you can do it in five minutes while you're still in bed on the first of the month. I kept trying to add a fourth point like "what surprised me" but it threw off the whole rhythm. The simplest version always wins in the long run. Now I stick to it for 8 months straight without missing a single month.
