Tracking sleep that closely seems like overkill to me. It's just rest, not a science project. People used to just go to bed and wake up.

Read what @viola288 said about sleep just being rest. That shocked me. Sleep is when your body repairs damage from the day. Calling it simple rest ignores how crucial it is. Poor sleep wrecks your focus and mood the next morning. Cameron is right that we turned it into a problem. Now people stress over data or ignore it totally, both are bad.
