Update: My journal got soaked at a coffee shop in Portland and I switched to pencil after that
I was at a spot on Alberta St last Tuesday and a guy bumped my table, dumping his whole latte on my June spreads. Now I use a cheap mechanical pencil for daily logs and only ink the monthly pages at home, which honestly fixed my fear of messing up. Anyone else switch tools because of one dumb accident?

Ever knock over an entire pitcher of water on your desk like a total klutz? That was me last month, and my sketchbook looked like a paper towel. I switched to a cheap ballpoint after that since it doesn't smudge as bad when things get wet. Still too scared to bring my nice notebook anywhere near a cup though.
