Picked the $40 electric kettle over the $15 stovetop one, now I'm out $55 and down a burner
My old kettle died three weeks ago so I stood in Target for 20 minutes stuck between the $15 stovetop whistler and the $40 electric one, and I went electric because it looked easier. The thing quit on day 9, and when I dug out the box the return window had closed by two days. Should I just eat it and go back to the cheap stovetop one, or is there an electric kettle under $50 that actually lasts more than a week?
